The Series 200BE FRP Flush Door was introduced over 20 years ago to meet the ever-increasing demand for value-engineered doors for schools. When the public school system started looking at long-term maintenance instead of short- sided initial building cost, they moved into products like Cline’s 200BE FRP doors. The Series 200BE is based on the basic structural framework of the Aluminum 100BE flush door with the exception of the outer skin. Cline has replaced the outer skin with a 1/8” FRP skin. Competitive FRP doors utilize a rigid foam core that in accordance with the IBC requires a core liner of either 0.032 aluminum or 28 gauge steel. Cline series 200BE uses a high compression strength of 94.8 pounds per square inch marine grade, organic honeycomb core.
